Our college daughter wanted an "eco friendly water bottle oz" because they are the "in" thing on campus. However, when I saw the price, I thought I needed to investigate a little further. After doing a lot of online research as to which brand rated the highest, we went with Klean Kanteen because they are PBA free and had a good color selection. Then I began to add up how many cases of bottled water I buy each money for our family and when I factored in the fact that those plastic water bottles are terrible for the environment (700 years to decompose), I ordered one for each member of our family! They will have paid for themselves in four months since we no longer buy bottled water. Another benefit is that we now carry them everywhere (they fit into the cup holders and we can loop them to briefcases and/or bookbags), so we are drinking more water than ever! To clean them, I soak them overnight in hot soapy water and then just rinse them in the morning. I highly recommend one for each member of your family. If you have kids in school, I would suggest that you etch their initials into the bottom as they are becoming more popular and I did not want my high school daughter's to "disappear".
